Statute of the Association
to acquire the qualification of the ordinary member one needs to be in possession of the following requisites :
1) Must have been a Practising aesthetic surgeon for at least 12 years and must have practised aesthetic surgery for at least 5 years as chief surgeon.
2) He has maturity and professional experience in his capacity as chief surgeon in all the following operations :
facelift, blepharoplasty, otoplasty, rinhoplasty, mastoplasty, abdominoplasty, liposuction.
Surgeons who operate only the neck and face are also allowed to acquire the qualification of the ordinary member but they must have been practising aesthetic surgery for at least 12 years and must have matured at least 5 years professional experience as chief surgeon in all the following surgical procedures : facelift, blepharoplasty, otoplasty, rhinoplasty.
In all cases these members must always report the specification: “neck and face aesthetic surgeon”.
3) The subscription at the Association has to be renewed every two years with the following criteria: the Member has to demonstrate a constant update by his participation at the Congresses and courses recognised by the Association.
4) in the course of the two years the Member must have contributed at the editorial activity of the Association giving at least an inedited scientific article to publish in the review of the Association.
All medical doctors who are training as Aesthetical Surgeons and who are waiting for gaining all the requisites for transfer of the qualification of the Ordinary Member can acquire the qualification of the aggregate members.
are specialists in discipline similar and/or complementary at the Aesthetic Surgery and friends of the Association that are considered by the European Association of Aesthetic Surgery as elements to refer for the scientific activity of the Society.
are members that gained this qualification for scientifical, cultural or philanthropic merits. They do not pay for membership fee.
